Meet The Team.
Zoe | Assistant Account Manager
This week we are introducing you to Zoe. She is our Assistant Account Manager and works alongside Paul and Barry. Zoe joined Also Home in 2015 as an Apprentice and has now become an employed member of the team. Since Zoe joined the team, she has had a steep learning curve but now knows her percale fabrics, from her standard cottons and is proficient in reading test reports, managing the production process and liaising with all our suppliers around the world. Her smiley and friendly nature came across immediately in her interview and is something we always look for when hiring people to join Also Home.
Zoe’s day always starts with emails from China, India, Vietnam and Portugal. Time management in Zoe’s job is vital especially with the time difference in the Far East.
Zoe inspects all the final samples from our suppliers before they come into our warehouse to ensure they are up to standard and exactly as we require. She is regularly seen measuring, checking and casting her eye over every detail from buttons, packaging and the quality of the stitching and finishes. Zoe works as Paul’s assistant and is learning all the time from him and his experience. She works mostly with our Private Label customers, but is also involved with Barry on the Also Home Brand. Last year we introduced a new Stock and Sales Management system into the business and Zoe has picked this up brilliantly and become one of the main users of this system for us.
Zoe is a keen car enthusiast and loves racing cars around a race track and going to different car events. This hobby couldn’t be further from her job working with homewares! Her favourite product in the collection is our Stockholm Throw in grey.
Zoe is a local West Sussex resident and lives with her family a short drive from the Also Home HQ in Rudgwick. She loves to travel and spend time with family and friends outside of work.
